St. Lawrence is the neighbourhood around the St. Lawrence Market, a market tradition that Heritage Toronto dates to 1803. Take Line 1 to King Station, then head south on Yonge and east on Front Street East. Heritage Toronto says a portion of the South Market once housed the city council chambers.
