Tell us about a mistake

Email [email protected] with the link to the story and what needs fixing. If you can, point us to the official page that shows the right information. You can also use the contact form.

What we do

• We check what you sent against a primary source.
• If you are right, we fix the story and add a dated note to the top of it.
• We add an entry to the log below, so the record is public.
• If the change is only an update, such as new event details, the story says "Updated" with the date.

The note on a corrected story reads: "Correction, [date]: we updated this story to fix [what]."
