North York

North York is a former city that built a downtown of its own along Yonge Street, with a civic centre, a public square and a subway stop to match. Take Line 1 to North York Centre Station, which has an entrance named for Mel Lastman Square and another at 5150 Yonge Street, the North York Civic Centre. Empress Walk is another of the station's entrances.
