Clear a winter weekend in February, because the cars are rolling back into downtown Toronto.
The 2027 Canadian International AutoShow runs from Friday, February 12 to Sunday, February 21, 2027. It fills both the North and South Buildings of the Metro Toronto Convention Centre. Media Day is February 11.
When can you get tickets?
Tickets go on sale on the AutoShow website starting December 1, 2026. The organiser says the only authorized places to buy are its own website, AutoShow.ca, and its partnered ticketing platform, Unity. Newsletter subscribers get a limited-time Flash Sale discount, so signing up early is a smart move. The organiser also runs a Super Tuesday with reduced-price admission. It recommends buying in advance online, and every ticket is provided digitally. Once you are inside, you can step out and back in on the same day if you get a hand-stamp on your way out.
Monday, February 15, is Family Day, and it falls inside the show’s run. If you are planning the long weekend, our winter weekend guide has more ideas to pair with it.
What will be on the show floor?
When we checked in October 2026, the organiser’s Feature Exhibits page still described the 2026 show and said it would be updated with 2027 information. We will refresh this page when the 2027 exhibits are announced.
For a sense of scale, look at last year. In its February 23, 2026 release, the organiser reported a best-ever 374,678 visitors between February 13 and 22, 2026. That show featured North American debuts for the McLaren W1 Supercar and the Audi R26 Formula 1 Concept Car. The organiser said test drives continue to be a popular draw. The 2026 show also hosted the winners of the 2026 AJAC Canadian Car of the Year Awards. The Canadian Motorsport Hall of Fame held its annual induction gala at the show on February 21, 2026. The 2026 feature exhibits included a LEGO Group display with a Kids Play Zone and building activities.
How do you get there by transit?
The easiest route for many visitors starts at Union Station. The organiser says you can reach the North Building from the east via the Skywalk, a glass-enclosed access way from Union Station and mass transit. The North Building is at 255 Front Street West. Our Union Station guide explains the station if you are arriving from the GO network.
The South Building has its own entrance doors on Bremner Boulevard, and a climate-controlled walkway links it to the North Building. The organiser says a shuttle bus runs between the two buildings on weekends. If you are coming in from outside the city, the organiser offers a GO Transit and AutoShow combo ticket that includes a round trip valid from anywhere in Ontario on the day of your admission.
When is the quietest time to go?
The organiser says peak times are generally the afternoons of Saturday, Sunday and Monday. Our advice: if your schedule allows, pick a weekday and arrive early, then wander the floor before the crowds build.
