Four Sundays, a ravine setting and a fire pit with your name on it: that is the Brick Works at its coziest.

When is the Evergreen Winter Market in 2026?

The 2026 Evergreen Winter Market runs every Sunday from November 29 to December 20. That makes four market days: November 29, then December 6, 13 and 20. You will find it at Evergreen Brick Works, 550 Bayview Avenue.

Entry is pay-what-you-can. Evergreen’s market page carries its suggested amount, so check it before you leave the house.

What is on at the market?

Think of it as a shopping trip with a lot of reasons to linger. Here is what Evergreen lists.

  • Ontario Vintage & Artisan Market. It runs every Sunday and is pitched as a source of one-of-a-kind gifts from small Ontario businesses and artisans.
  • Winter Garden. On November 29 and December 6, you can warm up by the fire pits, toast s’mores or sip a hot drink.
  • Winter Lounge. Open every Sunday, with live local performances through the day.
  • Art Hive. A free community art studio that welcomes everyone, every Sunday.
  • Festive workshops. Hosted by partners, and Evergreen asks you to register for them.
  • Food court. Local vendors, every Sunday.
  • Public skate. Planned for December 20 in Koerner Gardens, weather permitting, with skate rentals.

Which Sunday should you pick?

Here is how we would choose, and it is opinion, not a rule.

Want fire pits? Go on one of the first two Sundays, because the Winter Garden is listed for November 29 and December 6 only. Want to lace up? Circle December 20, and keep an eye on the forecast, since the skate depends on the weather. Want the whole spread with fewer decisions? Any Sunday brings the artisan market, the lounge, the Art Hive and the food court.

If you are shopping for gifts, we like the idea of an early visit. You get time to walk the market once, circle back for the thing you could not stop thinking about, and still have December to wrap it.

How do you get to the Brick Works?

Evergreen runs a free shuttle bus between Evergreen Brick Works and Broadview Subway Station Parkette. For the Winter Market, it recommends the shuttle from Broadview Station, the 28 TTC bus from Davisville Station, or a walk from Castle Frank Station or Chorley Park.

Paid parking on site is very limited. If you can leave the car at home, the shuttle makes the trip part of the outing. Check Evergreen’s page for the current shuttle details before you go.

What else is on the holiday calendar?

The Brick Works is one stop on a long Toronto season. Our Christmas in Toronto guide gathers the whole run, and the Toronto Christmas markets list has dated markets across the city. If you want a second market in the same week, the Distillery Winter Village and the One of a Kind Christmas Show are worth a look.

Send this to the friend you would bring to the fire pits.
