Five Toronto Christmas markets with 2026 dates confirmed by their own organisers, from the Bentway in early November to Evergreen Brick Works in December.

Somewhere between the first cold morning and the last gift list, Toronto turns into a city of mittens and market stalls. Here is the 2026 season in date order.
One note on how we built this list: we include a market only when its organiser has published 2026 dates on its own page. Anything still waiting for dates comes at the end, and we will add it when it lands.
When: November 7, 2026.
Where: The Bentway, 250 Fort York Boulevard.
The organiser’s page features 140 handpicked artists. Free tickets are available through the organiser’s site, so this is a good first market of the season.
When: November 12, 2026 to January 3, 2027. Destination Ontario lists the same dates.
Where: 55 Mill Street, in the Distillery District.
Admission is free before 4 p.m. daily and all day Monday to Wednesday through December 13. Tickets are required on opening night, from 4 p.m. on Fridays to Sundays, from 4 p.m. on Thursdays in December and from 4 p.m. daily from December 14 to 31. Our full guide covers the details: Distillery Winter Village dates and what to know.

Where: George Brown Waterfront Campus, 51 Dockside Drive.
SWEA Toronto organises the fair, and the programme includes a “Taste of Sweden” food section.
When: November 27 to December 6, 2026. Destination Ontario lists the same dates.
Where: Enercare Centre, Exhibition Place, at 100 Princes’ Blvd.
The show features 800+ Canadian artisans. If you are coming by transit, the organiser notes that two GO routes stop directly at the Exhibition GO Station. Tickets are on the organiser’s site, which is where we would book.
When: Sundays, November 29, December 6, 13 and 20, 2026.
Where: Evergreen Brick Works, 550 Bayview Ave.
The Ontario Vintage & Artisan Market runs every Sunday, with gifts that support small Ontario businesses and artisans. On November 29 and December 6 the Winter Garden adds fire pits, s’mores and hot drinks. A public skate is scheduled for December 20 in Koerner Gardens, weather permitting. Entry to the market is pay-what-you-can.
Not a market, but a close cousin. Cavalcade of Lights at Nathan Phillips Square runs from November 28, 2026 to January 7, 2027. Read our Cavalcade of Lights guide to plan an evening around it.
We cover the markets outside the downtown core separately, in our guide to Christmas markets in Scarborough, North York and Etobicoke.
Destination Ontario lists Holiday Fair in the Square, the Winter Market at the St. Lawrence Market and Holiday Hills at STACKT market with a “check back” note for exact dates. We will add each one here once its organiser publishes them.
Our pick is to start with a free, easy market in early November, save the ticketed evenings for a night when the weather is on your side, and keep a Sunday free for Evergreen. For the full holiday calendar, start with our Christmas in Toronto guide.
Send this to the friend you would bring to your first market of the year.
