Parkdale

Parkdale centres on Queen Street West between Dufferin Street and Roncesvalles Avenue, in a village proclaimed in 1879 and annexed by Toronto in 1889. Its BIA says the lake, Sunnyside Beach and the CNE once made it a resort spot for Torontonians, and describes new immigrants, artists and young professionals as neighbours today. By TTC, take Line 2 to Dundas West Station, which lists the 402 Parkdale bus and the 504 King streetcar among its surface routes.
